The Moving Image

I am extremely passionate about everything film. Alongside photography, I am also a filmmaker and videographer. I have directed multiple award winning films and my work has been featured in some festivals. I take pride in being able to offer a creative and original perspective to any project I am working on!

A look into my filmmaking life!

The Pile IV - A Fashion Film

A film highlighting designer House of Hendo's creative process in creating a piece. Premiered at Toronto Fashion Week F/W 23.

    Don't Fall in Love - A 16mm Bolex film

    Semi-finalist at LIFF-Sweden 2023.

Spaced out: A 16mm Bolex Film

A film I directed which was shot on a 16mm vintage Bolex film camera. Spaced Out explores the isolating nature of depression and mental illness. It is quiet, emotional, and thought provoking.

    Reminiscent

A vintage-style film we created in honour of Mother's Day.

Never alone - An OFFA official selection

Never Alone depicts high school students wrestling against temptations and the forces that inspire a loss of self-esteem. This film was an OFFA Official Selection in June 2021.

Fragile Faith- An Award-winning Short Film

Fragile Faith was created for a local contest with the theme of "Keeping Christ in Christmas." I came across this contest and thought it would be a great idea to create a film for it to help spread some Christmas cheer during these especially difficult times. I reached out to one of my friends, and she agreed to co-direct it with me. After much planning and a few challenges along the way, we placed first in the competition and managed to impact thousands of people across the GTA.

    Then and now

As the world goes into a complete lockdown, Sam searches for his Xbox to pass the time with a friend. He finds a very old journal telling him of a past pandemic, the Spanish Flu. He gets to thinking about how the internet has made his life easier during COVID-19. This film came runner up in Trendmicro's What's Your Story? Competition.
